CADMOULD GAIM is an additional module which makes the simulation of the special process of gas injection moulding possible. In this method the injection mould is produced hollow in the inside by injecting an inert gas. The injection of the gas can be performed at one or more positions which can be located anywhere at the part.Typical users are injection moulders, tool makers and designers who deal with the production of gas injection parts.

The minimum requirement for the application of Cadmould GAIM is Cadmould 3D-F Fill, Pack, FE and Pre & Post.

ADVANTAGES
  • Cost savings by feasibility analysis and reduction of mold modification loops
  • Determination of the reasons of unintended gas breakthroughs
  • Determination of the reasons why gas cannot penetrate into certain areas
  • Design of process parameters
  • Easy presentation of the complex physical behaviour of the two components for internal discussions and professional customer presentations
